Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Thursday [info]sidlj and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). Last month I broke [info]redgirl72928's X-Box (-12 points). In November I helped [info]supernaturalfun across the street (6 points). Last week I pulled [info]laurie_ky's hair (-5 points). Last Sunday I donated bone marrow to [info]barefoot_starz in a life-saving procedure (300 points).

Overall, I've been nice (300 points). For Christmas I deserve a Nintendo Wii!

My fiction update  
Just to let everyone know what is going on with my fanfiction, it hasn't been going.

I won't be finishing my story for Spook Me, hit a major roadblock about halfway through. Maybe next year.

I just, a few minutes ago, finished my story to be put on Rounds Of Kink, for today, so it's un-beta'd. I'll post it here once I get it to my wonderful betas.

I almost have chapter 4 done of my story "You're All I'll Ever Need," so I'll be posting that soon.

I have 2 more prompts to do for Rounds Of Kink, a story to write for giveandtakets (not due until end of the year), and all of my tables.

RL has been really rough lately. I had my elderly aunt, who has epilepsy, move in with me for a while, so I had to keep an eye on her when my mom wasn't here. Yesterday, I still can't believe that I did this, but I completely forgot that I had to work. Luckily, they called, and I just got a lecture on remembering to get to work on time.

What is it that goes first when you get older? 

Anyway, I hope to be getting more written soon.

I got my pictures from Cascade Convention that I ordered, of Garett (Blair)!!
4 wonderful pics! I'm so excited, I just had to share that info.

Now, I'll go back to trying to write my fic for Spook Me. I just wish my other Sentinel bunnies would get out of the way, just until this one is done. 
Still haven't found that smut bunny yet, either, just lots of angst bunnies.

Changed my username  
 Yes, I've changed my username, from need4speed_le, to rafe_traceyj, in honor of my new RP character on SylumClan. I'm now Brian Rafe from the TV show, The Sentinel. I've kept all of my friends, but wanted to let you know, so you're not going WTF?

I've finally finished my last story for Rounds Of Kink, and will post it as soon as it gets back from my betas.

Bunnies needed, and update.  
I'm taking a break from posting my 10 letters to let you know what is going on with me, if interested. 

I finally got a new job, working at Wal-Mart. I'm in the jewelry department, and I'm working mostly evenings and weekends. This will give me time to write during the day, if I can get some ideas going. 

I did sign up for 2 challenges in the next rounds_of_kink , so I have ideas for those, and I am working on the next chapters in my series "You're All I'll Ever Need," which started out as a one-shot for rounds of kink. 

I, however, have all of these other challenges that I've signed up for, especially Speed/Horatio ones, that my bunnies have just run off.

I'm in desperate need of bunnies, so I'm going to post, under a cut, a list of all of my tables, and if you have some ideas, please comment, or e-mail me. My address is on my user page.

Also, I found a really cool picture of a black jaguar on-line, and if someone can, I would love to have an icon made with it. If you could e-mail me about that, too, that would be greatly appreciated.

Today is my first official day of unemployment. I've been working on my room, trying to get to clearing my desk, so I can put my computer up. 
I have to have a story written by Sunday, and I need to type on my regular computer to get it done. It's very aggravating to try to type on my laptop for any length of time. It's for Rounds Of Kink.
When I do get it written, I'll need someone to do a quick beta on it. It will be AU on the show The Sentinel, Sandburg/ Ellison.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get it up tonight, and get it written tomorrow.

Well, I feel like the bottom has fallen out of my world.  
Today, it's official. The company that my dad & I have been running for the past 10 years has been sold. I have to pack up everything, get all my stuff off of the work computer, etc. by the 1st of July. 
Does anyone want to come to Greenville, SC, and help me pack? After I moved home, I've been storing a lot of things at the shop, and now I have to find somewhere else to store it, get all the record keeping together for my parents and myself, pay the bills, and try to find another job. Needless to say, my writing and any other part of my life not related to my work will have to be put on the back burner.  I'll keep reading, and trying to post when I can, but now after July 1st, I'll have to get used to using just slow dial-up to get on-line, and only when I'm not working. Ugh!
I do so enjoy reading some of the stories at work, especially when it gets really bad, or really slow.

If that wasn't enough, the property next to our place is being developed, so we'll be losing our solitude in the country. We own 3 acres, but this new development will be on 2 sides of us, and one side, we'll probably be able to see our neighbor's houses. My home has been my sanctuary, where I can relax outside, and not have to be around a lot of people. 

Anyway, end of my pity party.

Yes, I claimed another challenge.  

It's the same challenge as I did earlier, this time with just Speed. This way, if I want, he can meet or re-unite with 50 people.
I'm still waiting for a response from someone that I e-mailed, to beta my first story.

Finished my first story.  

Yay! I finished my first story.  Now, I just need to find a beta, then run a synopsis by bjjones, then figure out how to post it.

I tried to update my journal yesterday, but I had problems getting my computer to cooperate. 
There's no sexual situations, but I'm thinking of making the rating FRT, since there is some language. I think I did pretty good for my first fanfic, but we shall see. 
I've got a couple of more plot bunnies going. They really do multiply. lol
No evil bunnies, yet, but a couple that might transform.

My first challenge.  
I picked out my 1st challenge today, 50 Times I Met You. I know you said to start small bjjones, so I'm only going to do one table at a time. Character pairing: Speed (Timothy Speedle), Horatio Caine.
Fandom: CSI: Miami.  So, does this count as 1 challenge, or 50?

I did get bit by a plot bunny yesterday at the mall.  It won't fit onto the table, but it'll be H/S, Speed centric. Once I write it, I'll find a beta, then post it here, and maybe on Sylumclan.

My first entry  
Well, here I am, officially coming out of lurker mode. I am a proud member of Sylum Clan, a great place for those of us who believe that Speed is still alive and well. I haven't chosen a character to RP yet, so if you have suggestions, let me know. I would love to have a character that is somehow related to Speed.

I do love to write, but haven't had anything to write about lately. I've been getting depressed lately, so I know that I need to start writing again, to release my inner-demons (plot bunnies). 

If bjjones doesn't mind, I do so love the Timothy Speedle/Horatio Caine pairing, and will not steal her stories, just her combination of the two. Watching their characters on CSI: Miami, I know that they are meant to be a couple, b/c H seems to be very lost on the show since Speed's death. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the first 2 seasons of CSI: Miami. Speed was really the anchor of the whole group, and the team has really fallen apart without him.
Don't worry, people, I will talk about more than just Speed, but I recently watched the episode Lost Son, and am really in a venting mood.

I'm new to LJ, and want to take up some challenges to get my creative mind going, so if anyone wants to offer help, advice, bunnies, etc., it would be greatly appreciated. Also, when I do write, I will need a beta, so if someone would like to help me with that, please let me know.
Or, if you're stuck on a story, maybe I can help fill in the gaps, or offer advice, to get my own creative juices going.

Will give more info about myself later, don't want my first entry to be a small novel.
